CONGRATULATIONS ANTHONY

PICTURED ABOVE IS ANTHONY AND TWO OF THE MOST WONDERFULCOACHES, MIKE MASSEY AND
JON HAMPSHIRE.
Peninsula-Woodridge senior, Anthony Lahoski, had a successful year for wrestling. The four-year varsity letter-winner broke the school record for most wins with 51 and was named team captain. He was Metro Athletic Conference champion for his weight class, 157#, and earned First Team All-Conference honors. This was his third year being a District qualified and went on to achieve his goal of qualifying for the OHSAA state championships in which he placed fifth overall in the State of Ohio, Division II. He earned All-Ohio status and was awarded Academic All-Ohio honors being a state placer with a GPA greater than 3.5. None of his success would have been possible without the assistance of his coaches, Jon Hampshire and Mike Massey. Anthony will graduate from Woodridge High School in May and will study mechanical engineering in the fall at Ohio Northern University where he will also compete for the wrestling team. He is the son of Terry and Denise Lahoski and grandson of Judy and the late John Lahoski. Congratulations Anthony!
