PENINSULA VILLAGE COUNCIL
October 2008 meeting:
Council welcomed Boy Scout Troop 371, who came to observe Council and earn a merit badge.
Mayor Fisher announced that the repair work on Stine Road will be handled by Summit County with no cost to the village. Thank you to Nick Kostandaras and Russ Pry for their help in accomplishing this task.
The Foot Patrol will be extended through the end of the year, in cooperation with the National Park. The CVSRR has agreed to let the village know when ticket sales are higher than normal ahead of time so appropriate planning can take place.

Mayor Fisher proposed having the County Auditor send a representative to the next regular council meeting to discuss the appraisal process for those residents interested.
