BOSTON TOWNSHIP

BRUSH CHIPPING: Tim Tesmer informs us that brush chipping will officially begin the first week in May. Please remember to place your branches at the curb and away from mailboxes. No root balls please.

BZA ALTERNATE POSITION: Kathy Mathies was named as an alternate to our appeals board.

DONATION ACCEPTED: Deb Yandala from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association presented the Trustees with a check for $6,500 to be used to purchase a SKID unit for Valley Fire’s grass fire truck. Our thanks for this most generous donation. PORT AUTHORITY: Marty Griffith and Anne Marie Griffith facilitated a meeting with Chris Burnham and Bryan Edwards from the Summit County Port Authority to discuss assistance in the JEDD area.

MEMORIAL DAY: As always the Township complex will be open for Memorial Day festivities. Valley Fire will have coffee and doughnuts in the service garage and the old school and town hall will be open. Make sure to visit the new exhibit at the Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum. The display is titled Peninsula, Then and Now a Sesquicentennial Portrait.
