BOSTON TOWNSHIP

BRUSH CHIPPING: Tim Tesmer informs us that brush chipping will officially begin the first week in May. Please remember to place your branches at the curb and away from mailboxes. No root balls please.

WEB SITE: Our Township web site is up and running. We still have some fine-tuning that needs to be done. Visit us at www.bostontownship.org. Zoning information and minutes will be available on the site. There is also a community calendar.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: We have our permits and work continues on the transformation of the old road garage. All township meetings are in the new road garage until the work is completed.

MEMORIAL DAY: As always the Township complex will be open for Memorial Day festivities. Valley Fire will have coffee and doughnuts in the service garage and the old school and town hall will be open. Make sure to visit the new exhibit at the Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum. The display is titled Peninsula, Then and Now a Sesquicentennial Portrait.

The Township Trustees meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. Meetings are temporarily in the new road garage next to the Town Hall. The zoning commission meets the second Tuesday of each month and the board of zoning appeals meets the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30PM (same location).
