BOSTON TOWNSHIP
2010 Organizational meeting: Committee assignments remain the same for 2010: Randy Bergdorf: cemetery board, zoning, and building and grounds. Jerry Ritch: police liaison and JEDD liaison. Amy Anderson: chairperson and fire board.
OHIO TURNPIKE: With the help of Summit County Councilman Nick Kostandaras, the Ohio Turnpike Commission has agreed to place no engine brake signs at either end of the Cuyahoga River bridge. As funding becomes available they agreed to provide additional sounds abatement.
ZONING: Jim Jones has been appointed to the Zoning Commission and Mike Anderson will serve as an alternate to the Zoning Commission.

STINE ROAD REQUEST: The Village of Peninsula has made a formal request to place a “rough road” sign at the Route 303 entrance of Stine Road. They also requested placing an additional sign suggesting a 15 mph. A copy of the Stine Road Pavement Condition Report prepared by the village engineer was presented to the trustees. The summary of the report indicated that “Stine Road at the present time is not a safe road to drive on”. The report was forwarded to Alan Brubaker, Summit County Engineer and engineer for the township.
MEETINGS: The trustees meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The zoning commission meets the second Tuesday of each month and the board of zoning appeals meets the fourth Tuesday of each month. All meetings begin at 6:30 and are held at the township offices.
