BOSTON TOWNSHIP

LEAF PICKUP: Leaf pick up continues until the first week of December. Place leaves at the curb but away from obstructions such as mailboxes.

SHARE-A-CHRISTMAS: The Trustees will be sponsoring Share-A-Christmas for those in need in our community. Drop off boxes will be that the Library and Terry Lumber. For more information please call Amy at 330-657-2439.

CONTRACTS WITH PENINSULA: The Trustees submitted contract proposals to the village for supplying salt and leaf removal. The village accepted the contract for supplying salt but declined the offer of leaf pick up.

SENIOR SNOW PLOWING: The Trustees will once again be offering this service. If you were on the list last year you will automatically receive an application. If you are new to the program please call Amy at 657-2439 and an application will be sent to you.

RUBBISH CONTRACT: The Trustees opened five bids for rubbish removal in the township. Rumpke, Waste Management, Republic, and J&J submitted bids. J&J also submitted an alternate bid where they will provide a 96 gallon wheeled trash tote with a lid for the contract term. The bids were tabled for review.

COMMENDED: The Trustees commended Peninsula Police officers John Petrovich and Mike Phillips for assisting township residents following a burglary.

CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Woodridge Cross Country runner Drake Sulzer on placing 4th at the State Finals.
