BOSTON TOWNSHIP

ZONING: The Trustee accepted with thanks and regrets the resignation of Joe Orahoske from the board of Zoning Appeals. There are still alternate positions available for both zoning boards and BZA. Please contact one of the Trustees if you are interested.

“TRIANGLE” PARK: The Trustees thanked the road crew for all of their efforts unearthing the sandstone slabs and resetting the walkway at Boston’s “Triangle” Park. Located at the intersection of Riverview and Boston Mills Roads the park was almost lost when Riverview Road was realigned.

JEDD WITH PENINSULA: The proposed JEDD agreement with Peninsula was forwarded to Summit County Council and approved. The measure will now appear on the ballot for approval by residents of Boston Township.

WETMORE ROAD ANNEXATION: The Trustees continue to negotiate with the City of Cuyahoga Falls regarding the annexation.

HAZARDOUS WASTE RECYCLING: The hazardous waste recycling center located at 1201 Graham Road will be open Thursdays from June 6 to September 26 from 2:00PM until 8:00PM. For more information go to Summitreworks.com.

BRUSH PICKUP: Will continue on the first Monday of the month.
