Kurt Wise, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2021. Kurt grew up in Boston Township and graduated from Stow–Munroe Falls High School. He was employed by Falls Welding and Supply.
Kurt was preceded in death by his mother Karen, cousin Kevin, grandparents Hazel and Norman Wise, and Virginia and Stephen Stanovic. He is survived by his sons Nathan and Jacob, father Kurt, Sr. (Alice), sister Mindi Wise–Kline, nephew John Kline (Brooke, Kenzie, and Kodie), niece Amanda Hermann (Jeff, Warren, and Ella).

Resident of Peninsula and Boston Township, Jeff Miller, pictured above, passed away on September 14. He was the son of Lenny and Arlene Miller (nee Conroy), both of Boston Township. Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Woodridge High School, poet, musician, skilled craftsman and union carpenter. He leaves his children Kalley, Dakota, and Brogan, his mother Arlene, siblings Chris and Tara, along with his love Sharon and many family and friends. Jeff`s favorite places were Boston Mills Ski Area where he spent most of his childhood and Terry Lumber where he learned his love of woodworking. His favorite things to tell stories about were all the buildings and bridges he helped to build and his many, many wonderful friends.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for his celebration of life to tell stories about their times with him and to laugh and cry with us. Thank you to everyone who donated food or time or both and to Boston Township Hall for allowing us to hold our celebration there.
