PENINSULA LIBRARY NEWS

COVID Update: We are continuing to encourage hand sanitizing and other common sense things learned during Covid to keep us safe from many other types of germs as well. During this time, we want all patrons to feel comfortable in the library so we are requesting that patrons continue to wear masks. Because of close proximities, attendees of in–person programs will be required to wear masks. Also, if you would like us to bring library materials to you curbside, please let us know.

Bizarre Bazaar and Book Sale: Because of Covid, the Friends of the Library could not have the book sale room open nor offer their Bizarre Bazaar in 2020. Both have reopened for this year and feature many great items! New books seem to arrive daily and the Bazaar changes hourly. Please stop in to shop!

Trick or Treat: In a good year, the Library will see between 250 and 300 people for Trick or Treat. Even though all of those people would probably not be in the building at the same time, during a two hour event we would have crowds exceeding the current recommended capacities for proper distancing. Therefore, for 2021 we will be having Trick or Treat outside this year. Treats will be distributed as well as a coupon for children to come back to the library at a less congested time and choose a book.

The Peninsula Library is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00AM to 8:00PM and on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. To reach the library, please call us at (330) 657–2665 or email us at info@peninsulalibrary.org . To visit our Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum, please call (330) 657–2892.
