What is Marbling? Artist Talk and Demo presented by Claire Marks. Thursday, August 7, 6:30PM
Claire Marks got bitten by the paper marbling "bug" nearly ten years ago and has been enjoying it ever since. Living and working in Akron, her practice has expanded to explorations with traditional Turkish marbling blended with her relish for psychedelic color palettes and collage. Witness this mesmerizing process for yourself! Please call to reserve a seat.
Preschool Story Hour will begin the week of September 8 and will be on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:00 am. Miss Allie will share books, songs, dance and much more. Please call the library or stop into the library to register. This is for ages 2 and up with a parent/guardian.
Water Marbling Tile Coaster Craft. Wednesday, September 17 at 6:00PM
Using water, paints and a tile we will make a beautiful, marbled coaster. Reservations can be made by calling, emailing or stopping in the library.
Breadmaking with Leslie Monday, September 22 at 6:30PM
Learn about making homemade bread. This will be a hands-on demonstration, and the class is limited to fifteen seats, so register early.
