Preschool Story Time – Mondays and Thursdays at 10:00AM Getting Started with Medicare—Thursday, September 22 from 6:00PM to 7:30PM. Getting Started with Medicare is presented by Laura Mutsko, a Certified Senior Adviser and Medicare Supplement Accredited Adviser. She will highlight when and where to apply for Medicare, what decisions you will need to make, what Medicare covers, cost of Medicare, and the difference between original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans.

World War II Cartoons of Akron`s Web Brown presented by author Tim Carroll at the Boston Township Hall, 1775 Main Street Tuesday, September 27at 6:30PM.

Akron Beacon Journal cartoonist Web Brown was the best political cartoonist in America during World War II. After serving in the Spanish-American War, Brown returned to the States and began a forty-six-year career lasting from 1899 through 1945. Akron native and author Tim Carroll recalls the history of World War II through the outstanding artwork of Web Brown by publishing more than two hundred of Brown`s best cartoons in chronological order from 1934-1945. This is the only book in the world that has published a significant amount of World War II cartoons and is the best book on World War II cartoons in existence.
