Peninsula Art Academy hosts P. R. Miller for a solo exhibit from September 18 to October16. Opening reception Sunday, Sept 18, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. PR Miller is an Akron artist, sculptor, and mixed media artist. He is renowned as a junk collector who used what he found to make sculpture. Peninsula Art Academy Plein Air Competition and Exhibit runs from October 23 to November 20. Plein Air means painting outdoors. This is one of our biggest events of the year, attracting artists far and wide. Painting days are October 20, 21, and 22. All work must be completed on canvases that are officially registered with the Peninsula Art Academy. All officially submitted works are displayed. On October 23 and the pieces will be judged by the renowned watercolorist David Rankin. A cash prize and winning pieces will be announced at a reception that day.
