Township Hall Painted: The next time you drive by the Township Hall, please take notice of the work done to repair the siding and paint the structure. This was a joint project of the Boston Township Trustees and the Boston Township Hall Committee.
Road Department: Brush pick-up on the first Mondays of the month will conclude for 2022 on October 3, 2022. Starting in October and through early December, the road department will be vacuuming up leaves as they begin to fall. Utilizing a $245,412 grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation`s Township Stimulus program and an additional $20,000 secured through the efforts of Brian Nelsen from County Executive Ilene Shapiro`s office and Joe Paradise from the Summit County Engineer`s Office the township resurfaced Oak Hill, part of Major Road, and Stine Road. (Peninsula Village contributed $21,000 for their section). Striping of these roads will be completed soon. The Township voted to approve a calendar of meeting dates for the submission of applications regarding hearings before the zoning boards. This will standardize the process for all. The calendar will be posted to the township website. The Zoning Commission has begun the process of reviewing the zoning resolution as it relates to signs and signage. They are being assisted by Mark Majewski of Northstar Planning and Design.
