Green Book Cleveland presented by Dr. Mark Souther
At the Boston Township Hall, 1775 Main Street
Saturday, August 19, 2:00PM to 4:00PM.
Special guest Dr. Mark Souther will present his most recent historical endeavor, Green Book Cleveland, which explores the hidden history of Northeast Ohio locations, in the Green Book and beyond, that were deemed safe for African American travelers in the decades preceding the height of the Civil Rights movement. Some of these sites were located in the former Northampton area (now Cuyahoga Falls) as well as Boston Township and Stow. Please call the library to reserve a seat! Getting Started with Medicare on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM.
Getting Started with Medicare is presented by Laura Mutsko, a Certified Senior Advisor and Medicare Supplement Accredited Advisor. She will highlight when and where to apply for Medicare, what decisions you will need to make, what Medicare covers, cost of Medicare, and the difference between original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans.
