CONDOLENCES

A sad farewell to Robert Clague, 1931-2025. On Wednesday, January 22, 2025 Robert (Bob) Clague, beloved husband of Betty Reinhart died peacefully after a two-day hospice period at home. His heart just finally failed. He and Betty met in Peninsula seven years ago and married 6 years ago at Peninsula United Methodist Church. They moved from Stine Road to a condo in Eagles Chase off Smith Road in 2019. Bob, after earning his Engineering degree, graduated with a Master`s degree in Business Management from Case Western Reserve and spent many of his working years with Johnson and Johnson Company. As a young man, Bob served his country in the Air Force which led to a life-long interest in aeronautics. In mid-life he built and flew his own bi-plane, and at age 85 he enjoyed sky diving with his daughter-in-law. Bob will be sorely missed by his two sons, John and wife Mary and Jim and wife Laura, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Betty`s family; Mary`s son David, Kelly and Mark, and John and John`s children will also miss Bob. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a kind word for everyone. Betty fondly remembers their trip to Ireland in 2022 when they visited the Isle of Man, in the Irish Sea where many of Bobs ancestors are buried. Bob`s church family will miss his ready smile. Betty asks that you will say a short prayer to help alleviate her enormous grief and loneliness without him.
