FARMERS MARKET
Following up on information that was included in the March 2009 volume of Your Community News, I would like to confirm that the Countryside Farmers’ Market will, indeed, be held at Howe Meadow, 4040 Riverview Road. The market will continue to be held on Saturday mornings from 9am until noon, with all of your favorite vendors in attendance. This year’s market will open on May 30th and will continue through October 31st, with monthly winter markets to be held at Happy Days Lodge, 500 W. Streetsboro Road, on the 3rd Saturday of every month from November through April. To serve the needs of the vendors and customers alike, our new locations allow for continued
diversification and growth, as well as for an extended market season. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carol and George Haramis for the wonderful 5-year partnership that allowed the Countryside Farmers’ Market to be located at a property of such exceptional beauty. I am convinced that without their support and collaboration the market would not be as successful as it has become. We owe our success, in large part, to the enthusiastic support we receive from the Peninsula Community, and we are extremely grateful. We look forward to seeing you at our new home in 2009!
