BOSTON TOWNSHIP

MEETING ROOM: Our meeting room renovation is almost complete and the Trustees are now holding all meetings in this room.

COUNTY ENGINEER TO VISIT: County Engineer Alan Brubaker will attend the October 27, 2010 Trustee meeting.

PILT: The Township received $18,824.50 as our share of the Payment in Lieu of Taxes funding. This is the discretionary funding from the National Park Service that is given to Summit County. Our appreciation to County Executive Russ Pry for this distribution.

COUNTY MEETING: Trustees Anderson and Bergdorf met with Connie Kraus, Director of Development, Jason Dodson, Chief of Staff for Executive Russ Pry, Dave Marquard, Director of Environmental Services along with Cuyahoga Falls representatives Susan Truby, Toni Demasi, and Fred Guerra to discuss a temporary sewer tie in with Cuyahoga Falls until the county sewer line comes through. The tie in is for a portion of Akron-Cleveland Road.

LEAF PICKUP: Leaf pick up starts October 25 and continues until December 5. Place leaves at the curb but away from obstructions such as mailboxes.

SHARE-A-CHRISTMAS: The Trustees will be sponsoring Share-A-Christmas for those in need in our community. Drop off boxes will be that the Library, Terry Lumber, and the Township Hall.
