BOSTON TOWNSHIP TRASH SERVICE CHANGES
Effective February 1, 2012 your rate for residential solid waste and recycling service will be reduced from $48.00 to $44.82 per quarter. On that date Kimble (formally J&J Refuse) will begin a new contract with Boston Township supplying each home with a 96 gallon two wheeled cart to contain their solid waste. The carts are easy to handle, animal resistant and on collection day they are to be wheeled to the road. Excess solid waste that does not fit in the cart can be placed next to the cart for collection on your service day. Please place your recycling bin a couple feet away from cart.
Delivery of the cart to your home will be sometime in mid- January and instructions on their use will be attached to the cart. We ask that each residence try using the cart and if after a period of time you are not satisfied we will make arrangements to collect the cart. Remember there is no extra charge to use the cart, it is being provided to assist in keeping our collection costs in line and enable us to keep your cost per quarter for service in line as well.
