BOSTON TOWNSHIP

ZONING: There are still positions available for both zoning boards. Please contact one of the Trustees if you are interested.

ZONING CHANGES: The proposed amendment to the zoning regulations with regards to garage sales was approved by the Summit County Planning Commission. Thank you to Lida flowers Brandt for all of her work.

LEAF PICKUP: Leaf pick up will begin the third week of October and continue into December.

ISSUE 37: The Trustees are asking for your support of Issue 37, the proposed JEDD with Peninsula. Only voters in the unincorporated portion of the Township will be able to vote on this issue.

POLICE CONTRACT: The Township’s contract for services with Peninsula Police Department expires at the end of the year. We will be accepting proposals from any departments that are interested in contracting with the Township.

SENIOR SNOW PLOWING: The Township will again be offering this service to our seniors. If you were on last year’s list you will automatically receive this year’s application. Please call 330-657-2439 if you need an application.

SHARE-A-CRISTMAS: It is time to be thinking about our annual Share-A-Christmas program. Drop off boxes will be at the Library, Terry Lumber, and Peninsula United Methodist Church. For information call 330-657-2439.
