BOSTON TOWNSHIP

CONDOLENCES: Condolences to the Bergdorf family on the passing of our friend Wes Bergdorf. Wes served on the zoning commission as was secretary for both the zoning commission and the board of zoning appeals. He was also a charter member of the Cuyahoga Valley Communities Council until 2007.

CUYAHOGA FALLS JEDD: Jerry Ritch and Marty Griffith will meet with Diane Sheridan, Director of Community Development, and the Cuyahoga Falls mayor on March 7 to review the status of the JEDD area. A tentative date in March has been set for the three trustees to meet with Cuyahoga Falls officials.

AMATS MEETING: The trustees set March 12, 2014 as the meeting for AMATS to attend and explain their Interstate 380 project and opportunities.

TURNPIKE: Trustee Ritch with assistance from Joe Paradise from the Summit County Engineer’s office submitted an application for an $85,000 grant for a turnpike sound mitigation study.

PUBLIC HEARING: On February 12, 2014 the trustees held a public hearing on the garage sale amendment for the zoning ordinances. The ordinance was subsequently approved.
