A TIME FOR THANKS
For the past seventeen years the Township Trustees have sponsored Share-A-Christmas. An enormous thank you to Paul and Marsha Sergi for their most generous monetary donation. Jim Christ of Western Reserve Racing, the Peninsula United Methodist Church, and Greg and Norma Preneta also provided financial assistance. We are grateful for your generosity.
Thank you to two divisions at Allstate in Hudson. The Helping Hands Team, under the direction of Natalie Kreptowski, and the Hudson Express office lead by Randy Emery provided many wonderful gifts and gift cards for the children. Thanks to Lisa Reidel who is our contact at Allstate. Thank you to the generous parishioners at Mother of Sorrows. Their Giving Tree provided many wonderful gifts. Thank you to Molly Wagner for coordinating this effort. Peninsula United Methodist Church members provided much needed food, gloves, hats, scarves, and mittens. Thank you to Charlene Cooper for coordinating these donations. Under the direction of Mrs. Vineyard, the students at Woodridge High School provided around 700 non-perishable food items. Thank you also to Saint Basil’s Catholic Church for a food donation.
Thank you to Terry Lumber and the Peninsula Library for once again allowing us to place drop off boxes for food. Thank you to all of the members of our community who so generously donated at these locations. Last but not least thank you to our elves, Charlene Cooper, Gloria Ritch, Linda Dyczkiewycz, Paul Kaczmarski, and Tom Germain for helping pack all of the gifts and food. As always thanks to Valley Fire for their delivery services.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2015.
Amy Z. Anderson, Jerry Ritch, and Randy Bergdorf
