PENINSULA VILLAGE
The Village of Peninsula Council met in regular session on February 13, 2017. Mr. Ralph Reinhart was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his exceptional contributions to the Community. The Council and Mayor thanked Mr. Reinhart for his service in the Naval Reserves, as a Boy Scout Leader, as a member of the Woodridge School Board, Peninsula Road Commissioner and other Community contributions. The Council discussed the replacement for the vacant Administrative Assistant position in the Village. Longtime Police Officer Priscilla Allaman has retired from her service to the Village. Everyone wished her a happy retirement. The Council approved some roadwork to be done in the Village as part of the Summit County Road Pavement and Maintenance Program. The Council reappointed Brad Bryan as Village Solicitor and Prosecutor for another year. They also set up a special meeting for March 2, 2017 at 7pm to discuss the 2017 budget.
