PENINSULA COUNCIL
Village Council met in an Electronic Meeting Format for the Regular Council Session Via Zoom Meeting July 13, 2020.
June 8, 2020 Regular Council Meeting Minutes were presented and passed as written.
Council approved both the Extension of Dispatch Contract with the City of Richfield and the Animal Control Contract with the City of Richfield.
Council passed Resolution 11-2020 a resolution adopting the tax budget of the Village of Peninsula for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2021 and submitting the same to the county fiscal officer.
Council passed resolution 12-2020 a resolution directing the certification of property demolition and removal costs to the county fiscal officer for placement on the tax duplicate.
Council passed resolution 13-2020 a resolution authorizing the mayor and fiscal officer to enter into an agreement with Wichert Insurance to provide insurance coverage for the village from Selective Insurance Company and Insurance Indemnity of North America.
Council passed Ordinance 16-2020 an ordinance requiring facial coverings.
Mayor Dan Schneider announced Summit County is starting the repairs to the bridge on Riverview Road.
