Take and Make Crafts! Call the library to register for your kit.
Children`s and Adult DIY craft kits are back! The next kits will be available on Monday November 1 and December 6. Each Kit will contain all or most of the materials for the craft with instructions. We are not charging a fee, but donations towards children`s and adult programming are always accepted so we may continue fun programs. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED so we can have enough art supplies for everyone interested.

A Funny Program about Funny Programs: The Greatest Sitcoms of All Time

Award-winning author and pop culture historian Martin Gitlin hosts this fun and enlightening presentation based on his book, The Greatest Sitcoms of All Time. He is the only author to actually rank the best of the best, including I Love Lucy, All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers, Seinfeld, Frasier and Modern Family. He will show funny snippets from those shows and others, challenge patrons with sitcom trivia (including identifying cool theme songs!), discuss the criteria he used to rank 70 years of sitcoms and talk about how they have evolved over the decades in humor, presentation and content. This all-encompassing greatest sitcoms of all time program is really entertaining so join in on the fun!

Getting Started with Medicare. Thursday, October 21, 6:00PM to 7:30PM
Getting Started with Medicare is presented by Laura Mutsko, a Certified Senior Adviser and Medicare Supplement Accredited Adviser. She will highlight when and where to apply for Medicare, what decisions you will need to make, what Medicare covers, cost of Medicare, and the difference between original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans.
