PENINSULA ART ACADEMY
Peninsula Art Academy hosts the Peninsula En Plein Air 2016 event. The result of those three days of painting in the village and the park, early in June, is 46 artists creating 67 submissions. The Artists' Reception is being held on Saturday, June 25, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Peninsula Art Academy, 1600 Mill Street (on the way to Terry's). Light fare and beverages will be served. Winners and Honorable Mentions, with three attendant prizes, will be presented around 7:30, and there will be a guests' preference announced, as well.
Come see our village and surrounding sites the artists have found to be of high interest. There is some very good art coming from their choices.
Call to artists! Wanted: The Peninsula Art Academy is resuming its popular Artists' Studios Tour. Artists will be on a mapped studio tour of the Peninsula area. Please respond to Carol Adams.(caroladams@en.com.) Date to be arranged.
