PENINSULA VILLAGE
The Village of Peninsula Council met in regular session on June 13, 2016.
-The Mayor announced that the Akron Zoo Community Days for the Village of Peninsula are September 6 through September 11. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Village Hall after August 22nd There is a 4 ticket maximum per family, while supplies last.
-Council voted to replace the brakes on the Village pickup truck. Passed unanimously
-Council voted to promote Alan Halko to the position of Working Supervisor, Level I. Passed unanimously
-The Mayor announced that Officer Robert Havranek has submitted his letter of retirement effective August 31, 2016.

RESOLUTION 9-2016
An emergency resolution authorizing the continuance of the one mill cemetery maintenance tax for the Village of Peninsula and Boston Township Union Cemetery Association - Passed unanimously.
RESOLUTION 10-2016
An emergency resolution providing a pay increase to present village employees - Passed unanimously.
RESOLUTION 11-2016
An emergency resolution authorizing the mayor and fiscal officer to enter into an agreement for renewal of the village's insurance policies with selective insurance company through Wichert Insurance - Passed unanimously.

An emergency resolution authorizing certain amendments to the 2016 annual appropriation ordinance - Passed unanimously.
RESOLUTION 13-2016
An emergency resolution authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement with the Cuyahoga Valley National Park for specific roadside maintenance services - Passed unanimously.
ORDINANCE 7-2016
An emergency ordinance repealing section 1301.07 and enacting chapter 1311 of the building code relating to unsafe and dangerous buildings - Tabled.
