Mother of Sorrows Celebrates 140 Years

On September 11, 2022 members of Mother of Sorrows and the community celebrated the retirement of Father John Terzano and the 140th anniversary of the church.

Father John came to Mother of Sorrows and our community on August 1, 1995. He graduated from Saint Joseph`s High School in 1966. He attended Borromeo College, John Carroll University and Saint Mary Seminary. Father John was ordained on June 8, 1974.

In addition to Father John`s many accomplishments he has been an important part of the staff of Your Community News.

He will remain at Mother of Sorrows until the end of October and then will be moving to Stow.

Our thanks for being such an important part of this community and we wish Father John a happy retirement.
